珍珠粉

A friend reminded me to let Jamie try this since she's coughing with phlegm. So I bought the highest grade of 珍珠 (equivalent to 12 dosages) for $96 (ouch!!). Thank God after 1 dosage, can see that Jamie doesn't cough alot and she gets to sleep through the night! Jeremy is okie at this moment.

Me and My Son

While Jie-Jie is away, we had a nice dip for about 1/2hr. I enjoyed these special moments I have with Jeremy. It's very rare but I do treasure when there's opportunity for us to be alone, just both of us.

Hurray!!

So no fever or accerelated coughing? .. she's off to the bird park!!

TRUE SCARY

I almost couldn't access my blog !!! Tried doing all possible usernames/passwords with blogspot, gmail, google accounts for more than 1.5hrs ! Stressed!!!!!!!! Thank God I finally blundered into my blog!!! Phew! And I managed to cleared all confusions that I have AND also, I found another blog that I created (dunno when) under Jamie's name!

Parts of a Plant

See how Jamie drew the plants? At least she remembers to draw the roots! And the cloud which I recently taught her how to draw. Another interesting thing to note is, see the eyebrow that she drew on the boy? Funny hor!! (others will be 2 birds, 1 balloon & the sun)

Crossing Fingers

Jamie woke up this morning coughing on and off.

Asked her if her throat is painful or itchy...she said a bit itchy. Aggghhh.............. just hope she is well enough for her 1st school outing tmr to the Bird Park.

Snaps from HP

Found some photos taken from my Samsung Z400. So I uploaded few....

Jamie's doodle

Cute? She's improving in her own creativity... see the hair?? :D

Early Mornings

Our Jamie has been waking up quite early these days and some days, she will wake up as early as 7am while Jeremy and myself usually between 8-9am. So I told our helper to give Jamie some light homework (no supervision or guidance needed) like coloring, tracing or doing dot-to-dot. So this morning, she did the odd numbers dot-to-dot by herself. Not easy to introduce odd and even numbers for a 45mths old preschooler.

Evaluation

CQ and I sat through the class and found Jamie a little distracted yesterday. Perhaps she's tired and not used seeing so many uncles and aunties in the dance room? Anyway, I think she is doing fine as long as she enjoys learning ballet dance. Afterall, she is only 45mths old, commented her dance teacher, Miss Yap.
Can see Jamie? Yes the 1st girl in the row.

Ouch!!

Look at the bunch of Jamie's hair? This is the work of Jeremy's itchy fingers !!

New Remote Control Car

Upgraded to a bigger remote car as I find the other one quite difficult to control for a little toddler like Jeremy. Even I have lotsa fun playing with it!

The AtlantisCity @ Delta

Found this new indoor playground near Redhill MRT (Delta Recreational Center) for the children to explore!! Thanks to a local forum's mummy's recommendation! I bought the playcard $20 which only cost $2 per hour for each kid. We were all very exhausted after a mere an hour of fun & play!

Boring Saturday

Dunno why I was still feeling so bored & restless though we had a swim in the morning at the country club, went to Civil Service Club for a walk in the afternoon and while the kids were having their afternoon nap, CQ and I managed to steal some private time window shopping at Jurong Point. ** Pixs taken at night before bedtime

Distance, Time & Money?

I might withdraw Jamie out from Zoo Phonics and enrol her into a Montessori Phonics enrichment class at the nearby country club behind our house so that we need not have to rush to class every Friday night via cab. Another plus point is that while waiting for Jamie, Jeremy and I can have a quick dip in the pool or I can workout at the gym. Isn't it great ?

These days..

I have been using all sorts of teaching materials I can find and think of for Jamie since I've reduced using activities books. Don't understand why she likes to draw balloons with a horizontal line across. Looks funny!

Seasonal Weather

Sunny, hot, humid, thunder, lightning & RAIN! What a day and spoilt my outdoor activity for the children, arrggghhhh!!!

Good Friday

Few days ago, I have been telling Jamie what's the meaning of Good Friday though I reckon she understands it fully. One of the things I said to her was, "Jesus died on the cross for us so that we will have eternal life in heaven" . Then she looked at me & said "But mama, I will cry if mama dies & I can't find mama." In that split seconds, I was so sad and I replied "But Jamie, you will see mama in heaven when you die eventually. Isn't it great? Do you want to know God ?" she nodded. I'm beginning to enjoy such moments wif her and having some deep thoughts conversations.

Easter Day Homework

Jamie was given home assignment from her school. The note says "We are learning about colors right now. Please help me to make a colorful egg shape card....I need to bring this back to schoold on Monday, 9 April. Thank You."

Reading Session

When Jeremy was much younger, all he could do was taking and throwing the board books out of the box! Now, I am so relieved to see him appreciating books much better.

Happy Easter !

Jamie took back an easter egg from school in a nicely decorated party cup and was determined to peel and have it eaten!

Odd~Even Numbers

Jamie has improved alot in her reading. She can read most of the words and look at her coloring skills? I am impressed!

Mighty Saver #1

Jamie finally completed her 1st card (she was rewarded 1 star sticker for not fussing over washing hair)! So I brought along $20 (supposingly her own savings) to bank into her account and to redeem the free gift which is a big A4 book! Also collected the #2 card. Hmm, I shall start the #2 with another target for her to achieve :D
