Bought this tent for quite a while and have been kept away since then till few days ago when CQ promised Jamie that he will "camp" with her one of these days.. So here it is! An Enormous tent indeed!
This is Jamie's 2nd excursion with her school. They are learning about Fruits & Vegetable this term. I love to send her off for such school excursions as I think she probably enjoys better going out with school. Click here for more details about Aeroponic Vegetables.
These are the stars that Jeremy has been awarded for passing urine in the toilet bowl and he is completely off diapers during the day at home.Toilet training is about being consistent and persistent in training and I'm glad I did it this time!
This may seems boring and uninteresting but its surely not an easy task for her!Sometimes we don't need complicated craftworks to keep them busy. Just this, Jamie is able to exercise patient, concentration, motor skills in using the scissors and learning how to wrap the box.
This is the part 2 celebration which took place at my estate here. Road block started at 2pm till 12mn. I brought Jamie there around 645pm since she already taken her dinner while Jeremy was still having his nap. Quite a good time for family bonding and for kids to roam around the road aimlessly (sounds like what Jeremy did!!).
We did 2 simple art & craft b4 Jamie went to school. The first is a spinning windmill & the other is a pirate hat. We also did the gliding plane. Simple, easy to follow and almost effortless!!
While my sprained right foot is recovering pretty well, the flu bug has caught hold of me this time. If I tell you how I got it, I'm sure you will feel the same way as I do. Anyway, I got it when I "accidentally" swallowed up the entire bowl of "bacteria" soup from CQ's left over. How come? Haiz..... thanks to our DM lor..shall not lament over it. Thank God I'm getting slightly better today, just hope that I will not pass on to any of our family members.
This is how Jamie perceives the world in her own interpretation. She loves to use more than 1 colour pencil when she gets down into colouring. Very neat & beautiful. Isn't it ?
I'm not into such concerts but when a friend told me that there's one at Botanic Garden, it triggered my interest ! When we reached the venue, it's already 1/2hr into the performance. Nevertheless I enjoyed the short symphony at the Garden!
It's her favourite time again. Ya, she loves to use scissors to cut into a star shape. This time, she said she wanted to make a Mr & Ms Star.I love to see the way she puts her soul & mind in it when she cuts.
It's Saturday and Jamie has just returned from her mandarin speech & drama class. Obviously I do not have any activities for Jamie and upon seeing the dirty dishes in the basin, I casually asked her to help out. Without a word, she ran to the bathroom with a step stool!

Finally Jeremy can sit side by side with Jamie to watch the NDP on TV!!
Since its Singapore's birthday & we have nothing to do in the morning, I quickly squeezed out some red paint, few brushes, rug & a drawing board to start our Singapore flag painting! Good thing our flag is not as complicated as some countries and yet not to easy to bored the kid :D
Jamie reached school ard 840am, late 10mins as this mama had an injured right foot days ago and is on bandage lor. So we walked slowly. As usual, I brought our digicam along. Took some videos and few pixs while at the same time enjoying their mini concert. This time , they even have a short magic cum balloon show! Very entertaining indeed!
This should have been done months back. Anyway, she's learning to write her chinese name. Today we did the surname "jiang". This is the easiest to practise. The difficult part comes when she needs to write her own name. Eg 敏
Recently I bought 3 sequencing books suitable for Kindergarten till lower primary level for Jamie to learn. Today she's doing K's level. Pretty easy but needs some time to observe, digest and relate the pixs into a simple story that I asked her to form verbally.
Jeremy has grown alot more now. And he is very vocal, loves music & piano and he is also physically active as well! He talks even more and at this age, he can follow 2 simple instructions at a go. He is capable of telling you certain shapes and colors, he can run pretty fast, jumps a little off ground & loves to jump into the 0.9m deep swimming pool wif his float unaided....... the list goes on.....
Today is Jamie's 1st time participating in a Sports Day. I'm equally as excited and happy as her! It started from 9 to 1130am.Although its just a children's event, but I am amazed with the school's logistics and all the preparations work! Will be loading some pixs and perhaps a video clips if possible. Stay tune!
I heard about this newly built playground since about 1months plus and since Jamie need not have to go to school (am session sports day), might as well bring the kids out for a short while.Jeremy enjoyed himself so much more than Jamie as he is not as frightened of the fountains as his jie-jie. Pls bring extra sets of clothing if you are planning to go there.
Here, I find my own sanity's world to recap all the children's developmental's progress as well as thoughts to share. Jamie, our first born, has turned 17, 9 years after I started this blog. Followed by Jeremy, turning 15 coming December. Joshua, the youngest in the family, just turned 11yo. Time flies ! I have just managed to retrieve access to this maiden blog after 9 long years of inactivity LOL
