Underwater World Art & Craft
This is a voluntary work to be submitted by today to Jamie's school. Apparently this Thursday & Friday are "Meet the Parents" sessions whereby we will be seeing the teachers for assessment of our kid's performance in school. Alongside with this, we are also encourage to do up a parent-child craftwork for exhibition on this 2 days. Due to the complexity and last minute work, I ended up doing most of the craft myself while Jamie suggested ideas here and there.
HFMD Updates
A friend just informed me this morning that Jamie's school is listed on MOH's website as one of the voluntary closure kindergartens starting today! I couldn't believe my eyes as I swiftly browsed through the website. After confirming it, immediately I went to the school to inform her form teacher that Jamie shall stay at home till 20th May as suggested by MOH. What disappointed me is that the school will still be open for lessons since its not classified as "Mandatory Closure". Well, anyway, I think its only right that I should keep her away from the school for the next 10days.

Trimmed Again?
Ever since Jamie had her hair cut 3inch shorter than her usual shoulder length, her hair had been quite messy and unkept. I couldn't understand what went wrong wif her hairstyle till I brought her to the salon for a trim. I told the hairstylist that I want her hair to be "layered", that's it. Now she looks so much like herself & its nice too! Will take some nice pixs of her and upload here.

Mother's Day Gift
Jamie handed me the chocolate cookies and card at school gate today. Then, while still holding onto the carnation, she suddenly asked me to have it as "this is for you, mama!" I was quite surprised that the 2 cookies are for me as I thought its from her Jacob Ballas excursion today. Then Jamie said, mama, you have 1 and I have 1 ok? Hahhahahahaa!!
Very Free
Suddenly I feel very free today. Perhaps becos I have just completed a scrapbook and have yet to start a new project. So, I went ahead to prepare some practical life exercises to do with Jeremy. We did some scooping, pinching and pouring exercises. Not easy for him as he spilled over the water a couple of times. Today I also reinforce to train him how to carry the tray properly, name all the items one at a time and also make sure he sits down on the mat with legs crossed. He is much disciplined nowadays. I am satisfied.

Papa Is Back!!
After 10days away from home, CQ is finally back to the familiar house & usual noise of the children. While he was away, I did a scrapbook for him. Most of the photos taken were from our home studio taken last year July 7th. And guess what? He has slimmed down his waistline too :D

Jacob Ballas Children's Playground
It was our first time visiting here and the kids have alot of fun playing especially Jamie and her friend, Elizabeth. The play area is small yet comfortable enough to fuss out their energy here! We left the garden around 615pm and headed to Tanglin Mall for a nice meal. The kids were obviously worn out at the end of the day!!

Labour Day
Went for dim sum at Red Star Restaurant located at Chin Swee Road for an early celebration of Mother's Day for our mother. The crowd was amazingly ridiculously crowded! It all started right at the old rundown lift lobby of Block 54. When we finally reached 7th floor, another huge crowd blocked the restaurant's entrance! This was not all, the crowd continued even inside the restaurant! Terribly horrible I thought and I supposed the food should be commendable since so many people flocked to this more than 40yrs old HK style eatery. To my dismay, most of their dim sum were salty and not satisfactory to my taste buds! What a letdown... however their mango pudding is great!

More Work @ Home
Ever since Jeremy has been off school the whole month of April and perhaps May and June, it also means that I will be busy homeschooling him during this period. Perhaps this is the best alternative since hfmd is on the rise. Haiz, I really hope he can quickly get back to school to pick up some skills from his teachers so that he will be well equip come January next year when he will be in nursery.

Zoo Trip
Today Jamie went for a 4hours excursion to the Zoo with the school. I thank God for the good weather He has granted me as I've been praying fervently for a good weather since yesterday. I am thankful that He has answered my prayer and hence again, revealing His promise to Jamie as well.

Well done!
It came as a surprise for me last night. Just before the end of the usual stage performance, the teachers announced 2 awards each for K1 and P3 class. Teacher said this child has improved tremendously from being a shy and quiet child to a more chatty and enthusiatic person. In my heart, I was already guessing...could it be Jamie? My six sense is right!

Chinese Writings
I know Jamie is not the youngest child who started to write in Chinese but I feel that its time for her to learn the correct strokes at this age before its too late. And like English, I started teaching her the possible "sight words" so that this will help her to write more in future. *double click to see larger pix*

Our First Experience
Brought Jamie to catch a live stage play at DBS Arts Centre this afternoon at 2pm. We had very good center fifth row seats. As its Jamie's first time watching a play, she remained silent throughout the entire play while I was laughing and giggling away surely had enjoyed myself too! Thumbs up for the organiser!!

He refused to remove the attire and insisted that he wants to go to jie-jie's school, hahahhaahaa!! This set of outing attire soon will be his from his jie-jie. I can't believe my eyes when I saw him wearing this, he is soooooo baby, unbelieveable!

After my medical checkup at Raffles Medical Group, I quickly went to Popular Bookstore and grabbed some nice books for Jamie.

1) Spot The Difference - This book is relatively priced low. Around $3.00
2) Guess Who Am I? - Comes in a series of 8 books. Well invested books!
3) IQ/EQ - Actually I have quite a lot of similar bks/tools but what made me bought these are cos' its in English instructions and its handy too! Can do this during travelling.

Sunlight, Water & Air
This is what Jamie is being taught. I told her that plants need sunlight, water & air to grow. Here, we did a simple experiment. One that is sealed up with little or no air while the other is not. Just shortly after a day, this is what happened.
