Back to School
I am on cloud nine when Jeremy finally is back to school today!! Just days ago, I asked him if he wanted to go to school and he said "NO!" . This morning, when I raised the same question again, I got a "Yes" answer from him!

Flu Jab
Just yesterday, it suddenly daunted on me that I should go for my jab as its almost a year since I last took it. And this time, I asked Jamie to go for the jab too, assuring her that it won't be painful and it will be swift. I'm hoping that she will not develop any side effects after this. She will proceed to school after the jab....
Yea finally! Tell you, Jamie is a very brave girl cos the jab is quite painful no wonder she yelled sooo loud and cried for about 10mins. Prior this, she was so happy and looking forward to see the doctor woh!
NO School Again
Rang up Jeremy's teacher this morning and after reporting to her of his health status, it is decided that he should not go to school today. Anyway the doctor said he should be fine to go back to school on Friday. Sigh, ever since he's off medicine for more than 7 months, this is the 1st time he is not able to combat the virus/bacteria off despite consuming lots of Millennium, a kind of royal jelly, cactus fruit juice to boost up his immune system. I am still feeding him this + medicine, hopefully his fever will subside completely and he will be on the road to recovery by this week.

Today's Topic
It's been quite a while since Jamie has ceased working with dot-to-dot exercises. Found this book and I stood beside her while watching her completing the work as she rarely tries on numbers beyond 100. This, it ended at #156. More of such practices should be able to give her a better concept of #100s...
After dot-to-dot, I wanted her to revise on phonics. I think this is a good book as it also covers most of what she is learning from her teacher. So I used this as a revision book. Till date, she is halfway through the blue scheme & yet to start on the final scheme, green box, which her Montessori teacher will teach her on 5 letters words and beyond.

D.I.Y Ship
Jamie pestered me to set up the Winnie the Pooh Playhouse early in the morning and after it's done, she hid herself inside, real busy building this herself. Asked her what it is...she said its a ship! Nevermind if doesn't really look like a ship, what I'm impressed is the way she built it. So symmetrically done!
Farewell Party
We were invited to a BBQ farewell party this evening for Nigel & Karen as they will be leaving Singapore after years of tough thoughts of migration. I'm glad they have finally decided its time for them to go. We wish them all the best and let's keep in touch !

Jeremy 1st Goodie Bag
Today after school, I saw this goodie bag in his school bag and asked his teacher. So realised that they celebrated one kid's birthday earlier on. Then I noticed there's some cake stain on Jeremy's mouth & on his t-shirt as well. Wahahahaa..... this boy must be trying to feed him and got it stained.

AMC Cookware
Ever since I changed my cooking pots/pan to AMC, cooking has been a better experience for me. It saves my time spend in the kitchen and most of all I save on gas and its healthier!

Addition New Lessons On Tuesdays
I have been teaching Jamie Chinese subject on every Tuesdays since she started school last year. And this year, I have decided to add on one more, that is to teach her some simple yet essential drawing skills so that she is able to draw better as she seems to love to draw. So this morning after our chinese lesson, I taught her how to draw a chick, peanut & sunflower. I am not good in drawing but we will both learn together as we go along :P

Bye Bye Black Long Hair
Don't know where did I picked up the courage to chop down my long black hair which I have been keeping it for years. Yes there were times when I really trimmed my hair to shoulder length but I never changed the style. I cut my hair on last Saturday, colored it on Sunday and highlighted today. The outcome? Hmm, I don't really like the highlighted color though the hairstyle and coloring were good. Wanna see my new hairstyle??
My First Day of School
Today is Jeremy's first day of school at Evergreen Montessori. I am really very happy that this day has finally arrived for him to learn something formally in a school environment. As a matter of fact that I am unable to teach him at this age, its wiser to send him out to continue learning rather than putting a halt to it till next year.

Ouch!!!
It happened swiftly while I was taking my shower before bedtime. She was complaining to her papa about some pain and shortly after we were shocked to find out some some blood stained on her right foot! Apparently she had stepped on a small glass particle while playing in her daddy's studyroom. Good thing its not a deep cut.

First Day of School
After 1.5mths of rest & relax, finally it's time for Jamie to go back to school! I think I am happier than her ! She is now in Kindergarten 1. And this year, it will be another new beginning for her to embark on new learning be it at home, school or elsewhere. I am definitely anxious to see how much more she will grow academically, physically as well as emotionally.
