Very Free

Suddenly I feel very free today. Perhaps becos I have just completed a scrapbook and have yet to start a new project. So, I went ahead to prepare some practical life exercises to do with Jeremy. We did some scooping, pinching and pouring exercises. Not easy for him as he spilled over the water a couple of times. Today I also reinforce to train him how to carry the tray properly, name all the items one at a time and also make sure he sits down on the mat with legs crossed. He is much disciplined nowadays. I am satisfied.

Big Brother Phone

I thought such phone has long extinct but was so surprised when CQ brought this home from China! Asked him why he wanted to get such an awful out of fashion phone? He simply answered "It's Dai-Kor-Dai" le! Wah pian, cannot stand it! Luckily this phone doesn't burn a big hole in his pocket. Btw, its videocam cum touch screen phone hor. Kool rite?

Closed Up Mini Album

Honestly speaking, this is my best artwork & its also my favourite scrapbook so far. Hope jjpapa loves it as much as I do. Happy Father's Day in advance!

Numbers Board

This may seems easy but it took Jamie quite some time to complete the 100 board. With this exercise, she also understands the tens and ones concept better visually.

Papa Is Back!!

After 10days away from home, CQ is finally back to the familiar house & usual noise of the children. While he was away, I did a scrapbook for him. Most of the photos taken were from our home studio taken last year July 7th. And guess what? He has slimmed down his waistline too :D

Jacob Ballas Children's Playground

It was our first time visiting here and the kids have alot of fun playing especially Jamie and her friend, Elizabeth. The play area is small yet comfortable enough to fuss out their energy here! We left the garden around 615pm and headed to Tanglin Mall for a nice meal. The kids were obviously worn out at the end of the day!!

Labour Day

Went for dim sum at Red Star Restaurant located at Chin Swee Road for an early celebration of Mother's Day for our mother. The crowd was amazingly ridiculously crowded! It all started right at the old rundown lift lobby of Block 54. When we finally reached 7th floor, another huge crowd blocked the restaurant's entrance! This was not all, the crowd continued even inside the restaurant! Terribly horrible I thought and I supposed the food should be commendable since so many people flocked to this more than 40yrs old HK style eatery. To my dismay, most of their dim sum were salty and not satisfactory to my taste buds! What a letdown... however their mango pudding is great!

More Work @ Home

Ever since Jeremy has been off school the whole month of April and perhaps May and June, it also means that I will be busy homeschooling him during this period. Perhaps this is the best alternative since hfmd is on the rise. Haiz, I really hope he can quickly get back to school to pick up some skills from his teachers so that he will be well equip come January next year when he will be in nursery.

My Favourite Backpack

Simply love it as its small (real small) & compact yet has many very useful pockets and slots for storing different types of things. In fact, I will hand it down to Jamie say in 1-2years later when she is bigger enough to carry it.

Zoo Trip

Today Jamie went for a 4hours excursion to the Zoo with the school. I thank God for the good weather He has granted me as I've been praying fervently for a good weather since yesterday. I am thankful that He has answered my prayer and hence again, revealing His promise to Jamie as well.

Mini Album

Photos speak louder than words. This is how I feel and so I did a collection of photos of CQ with the children and quietly slipped the album into his luggage this morning :D

The Other Half..

CQ is away to China w fil till next Sunday... so meanwhile, I will occupy the other side of our bed, whahahahahaa.

Well done!

It came as a surprise for me last night. Just before the end of the usual stage performance, the teachers announced 2 awards each for K1 and P3 class. Teacher said this child has improved tremendously from being a shy and quiet child to a more chatty and enthusiatic person. In my heart, I was already guessing...could it be Jamie? My six sense is right!

Spot the Difference

Saw a series of such books at Popular Bookstore and I bought one for Jamie to try out. We love to do this together and within a week, we already completed the entire book! So yesterday, I headed down to the store again to buy the rest of the books.

Rocfish vs Hi5 ??

A fren introduced me this christian group during the easter month. I've missed their live concert here in Singapore but thank God she gave Jamie a DVD ! Now, I'm busy looking for more of such DVDs as both Jamie and Jeremy love to watch it! Best of all, its all about God's teaching.

A Father's Gift

Here's a peek of what I have just completed a mini scrapbook album for CQ. I find this very meaningful and hence decided to present this to him coming Friday when he will be going to China with his dad for 10days.

Underwater Puzzles

Jamie doesn't really like puzzles as much as some children I know of. But this morning, she suddenly took out this 37pcs puzzles, sat down and fixed it herself. Now I'm comtemplating if I should get few more of such puzzles for her.

Chinese Writings

I know Jamie is not the youngest child who started to write in Chinese but I feel that its time for her to learn the correct strokes at this age before its too late. And like English, I started teaching her the possible "sight words" so that this will help her to write more in future. *double click to see larger pix*
