Coming to 8th mois

I'm pleasantly amazed that I am still breastfeeding Jeremy with ease. Unlike Jamie whom I gave her breastmilk till around 7.5mths, Jeremy has more of it and I hope I can do it till at least when he hits 1year old. We all know the benefits of breastfeeding but the most satisfying moments I experience so far is the bond and affection that we both share. I have enjoy every moment I have with him.....

Happy Birthday, Jamie

It's Jamie 3rd bday today and she seemed to be more playful & happier. I wondered if she understands the meaning of "birthday" ? Anyway, this year we had it simple for her, celebrated at home with CQ's parents, siblings & Jamie's cousins. It was relaxed, less busy and stressful.

18-07-06 (Little Red Riding Boots)

Weather has been real bad since few weeks ago.. heavy rain early in the wee morning and humid hot sun in the afternoon. While we stayed at home most of the time, Jamie found her new "playmate" to keep her entertained for days!

18-07-06 (ZOOOOM)

This photo was taken when Jeremy was happily zooming left, right up and down the living hall one fine day. Look how fast he moved? omg, he looks rather huge in this walker! (7.5mths old)

16-07-06 (Close Encounter)

Jamie has never seen a snail before and tonight, CQ managed to spot one and ushered Jamie to it. I have been trying to explain to her how slow a snail moves and I'm so glad that finally she understood what I'm trying to tell her :D

14-07-06 (Rashes)

It all started on Tuesday when I found some red tiny spots on Jeremy's body. Since there's only so few of them, I did not take it seriously, thinking that it will subside on its own. However, the first outbreak came in 3 days later when his body started to have many red lumpy spots all over him, including his face. As I didn't want his condition to worsen during midnight without any medication, we immediately brought him to the nearby clinic. The doctor has confirmed that Jeremy contracted hives, a common skin rashes. Thank God, after a day of application, his rashes had gone.

13-07-06 (Gardening?)

Today I asked Jamie to water Ah Po's as well as neighbour's plants. And she was wearing this new pair of flip flop slippers first time, walking like a duck, so comical !

12-07-06 (Playtime)

Nowadays both of them seems to enjoy each other company.. hahaha let's hope they will play in harmony!!

04-07-06 (Happy Birthday!)

It's CQ's bday and I thought of getting the children to take a nice photo to give to their papa later.... (too bad it din happened). But Jamie get to choose the cake for her papa.

There are times with Jamie will be alone with CQ while I'm in the room feeding Jeremy during bedtime. And I particularly like these moments when she's with him.

Life Cycle

Recently I bought this little egg experiment wanting to demostrate to Jamie the life cycle of a duck/chicken etc. She had fun watching it "grow" !

30-06-06 (I Can Draw)

Jamie drew this all by herself. I am impressed! Just in case you are wondering what is it, it's an octopus wif ears, lol!!

Thursday, 29th June : Singapore Science Centre

Nowadays Jamie has been bugging me to play something with her and she seems to "outgrown" all her toys at home. So I decided to bring her to the Science Center to widen her knowledge. We didn't manage to explore all the areas and will re-visit again next month before she turns 3 (free admission for below 3, haha!!)

Keep Toys

This was re-told by our maid.... <one particular night before bed>
~~~
Jamie : Aunty must keep toys.. if aunty don't keep toys, aunty cannot go gai-gai !
Maid : .............
** Jamie is smart enough to push her responsibility to our poor maid! **
Baby Signs
It has never occurred to me that I should impart some baby signs to Jamie when she was a little infant though I am competent enough to communicate to my hearing impaired frens. To me, signing to a newborn is a challenge and little do I believe that babies will sign as a matter of fact that they are babies!!
I was wrong!
Now with Jeremy, all those "missed chance" that it didn't come to pass on Jamie, now I do it on Jeremy. I started it off with 3 basic signs, namely, milk , sleep & eat. As I do not want to disappoint myself, I did it on casual basis.
Guess what?
After barely less than a week, now he can tell me when he wants to drink milk & this morning, he was able to sign "sleep" twice indicating that he want to nap! Whippee!! Hurray!!
I am exceptionally over the moon!! So now, I'm moving on with more signs ..... :D
