Below are two simple 12"x12" layouts a wonderful mummy had done up within a very short notice for Jamie's party 100% of the proceeds went to support Charmaine for her hefty cancer treatment.

Now is the time.....
Cannot believe next Monday I will be joining hundreds of thousands of parents to queue up for Primary 1 registration!!! Mixed feeling.... our Jamie has grown up! She is about to go to the so-called "Big Kor Kor-Big Jie Jie" school! Quite relunctant to let her go though I know its part of life. Kids will leave us one day, sooner or later. I tell myself, I juz have to learn to let go and cherish her more each day.

Our Missy
Did a 3hrs+ kit for Jamie yday wif a fren who came along to my place. Scrapztudio offered to give us so-called free coaching but I find it not very educational as she herself is not expert in coaching as what I feel. Nevertheless, based on my past experiences wif such coaching, I managed to do up the front/back w the pages inside (no photos yet) , utilising as much of her tools as possible so that I can complete the insides pages wif minimal stress (hopefully)!

Blessed Birthday Papa!
Every year this time, while billions of Americans are toasting beers w cheers to celebration Independence Day, we will celebrate triple Js papa's BIG day! So today is also not an exception. Will be simple wif dinner over at in laws place wif cake cutting and a little gift too. Most importantly I pray that jjjpapa will have a good headstart in his spiritual walk wif God as we journey our 2years of IDT at our church together. As what the speaker had said last night, having a good headstart is not enough, we should have the ending in mind right from the beginning! We gotta to press on and to finish the race in order to pass on our legacy to our next generation, Amen!

Baby J's @ 34weeks
#3 is now weighing at 2.1kg. Average, 50 percentile as expected. Gynae said #3 will be somewhat between Jamie and Jeremy's weight. That's between 2.7-3.1kg. That's fine as long as he is born healthy wif no jaundice, birth defects or whatsoever complications. Effectively, I am counting down 5 weeks from today ! And judging from the ultrascan pix, I thought he resembles Jamie who has very chubby cheeks when she was born!

Fort Siloso Beach @ Rasa Sentosa
Had a planned trip w Eunice this morning for an excursion to the beach. Thank God for the good weather though it got hotter as it approached noon time. But the kids surely had a great time playing under the sun, especially Jeremy!! We then adjourned to Vivo after 2 hours of beach fun, washing up & rested at Rasa Sentosa. And my initial plan of bringing the children to their grandparents' place gotta cancelled when Jamie started to complain of fatigue & wanted to rest at home instead. As for Jeremy, he was obviously too worn out and dozed off even b4 we got up a cab!

Sleepy Beauty
It's Jamie's 1st time away from home to attend a full day complimentary art workshop (930-530pm) at Kinderart (Maxwell studio). She took home a huge canvas painting of Claude Monet, autumn effect at Argenteull 1873, which, ideally, to be display at our place, somewhere... Looking at the amount of effort she had put in, no wonder she's so exhausted after a long day of fun and slept on the sofa while I was preparing dinner.
Home Studio
Cannot remember when was the last time we took a decent family photo. So I told CQ to ask one of his photography khakis to help us out. And so we had an about 1hr+ of home studio last Saturday mid afternoon. Am sorting out some photos and hopefully can do up a nice family scrapbook & my preggie mini album too!

Tao Shu, The Award Winning Bilingual Series!
A fren rang me up last week to introduce me a series of Tao Shu chinese reader books. I've seen this from national TV so I knew what's she's talking about. But to get another series of books to squeeze onto the kids' already fully packed bookshelves, I've to be very careful in my selection of new books. But for now, click here for the details. It's definitely a good investment to start your kids in early literacy!

Interesting facts
Here's what I've found out about a child who has been trained from Shichida's method.
Observation of Shichida-trained children (aged 5) at other pre-schools
- Memory retention is stronger
- Recognise and recapitulate pictures and words from flash cards effortlessly
- Consistently perform well in spelling
- Display keen interest in learning
- Sharp listening skills- able to follow instructions well
- Work well independently. Hardly needs any supervision
- Can converse and recall details clearly
- Can grasp mathematical concepts quickly
I am training my kids using some of Shichida's methods + my own sets of right brain methods that I've acquired from people and centers that I've come across. Yes, I must admit it does help though it also depends on the child herself.
