This was taken abt 2 wks ago on Saturday morning before Jeremy's Madarin Speech & Drama at school. Kor-kor has been very sweet since di-di was born. He loves to kiss, hug and rock Joshua. Pray that both of them will grow to have a close bond between both of them.

Term 3 Kinderart Art Pieces
For the past 2 years, Jamie has learnt quite a lot of tactics in expressing her artpieces during lessons. And this year, I've enrolled Jeremy into Kinderart and he too has grown to enjoy art in a different manner. I'm also kind of grown used to the pictures that they were asked to reproduce. It's such a wonderful artwork that we can actually display it at home !
Above, showed a leaf which Jamie & Jeremy learnt about its structure and shape including the series of network a leaf has. They also learnt how to draw a single leaf wif shadow!
Baby Fats!!
Finally can see some baby fats on Joshua !! And he is gaining some more weight this week cos my arm aches whenever I carry him over my shoulder. He probably will be somewhere around 50% percentile for his weight/height so I won't be expecting to see a super chubby Joshua months down the road. Healthy is most important ya.

1 Week Checkup
Brought Joshua back to RH for his 1 week checkup + testing of his jaundice level since he's already 7 days old by now. Praise the Lord that he's tested at 9.6 which is within the acceptable level (beyong 17 will need to be admit and be treated). And he has put on 400g++ of weight in just a week's time!! Here's Josh's photo taken in hospital.

Thank You Card
2nd Day w/o Confinement Lady
For some reasons, we have decided to release the newly engaged confinement lady who has worked for us for 2 full days. Thank God for the smooth transition and so far, I am coping well even w/o her! Our maid has been a great helper and after some instructions given, she is able to cook nice, simple confinement food for me. Here, today is my 1st time bathing a newborn (since both Jamie & Jeremy were taken care of by a CL previously). See how fresh & relaxed Joshua is?

Baby Joshua Has Arrived on 5th August !!
Thank God for a very smooth & wonderful experience for CQ & I though its an elective caesarean. Both of us got to hold our newborn for the longest time we were ever allowed. Saw how "raw" Joshua was when he was born. And for myself, I had a smooth and almost painless opn, (except the prinking of needle into my outer palm and the epidural's insertion which was bearable though). I'm recovering very well and today into the 5th day after giving birth, I am already easily walking around and get back to normal routine! And I thank God for protecting Joshua too who was born wif 100% pink of health! He was such an alert newborn & could already turned and looked at my direction when i called him! Amazing!

Jamie is 6!!
Today is Jamie turning 6 finally! Big girl liao.. Above is the pix she took w principal, Mrs Patricia Lin. She has grown so much... thank God that we are able to celebrate her every little milestones wif pride. Today, the class sang her bday song in bilingual and Ms Yew asked all her classmates (in small groups) to take pixs wif her. I also had prepared goody bags for each and every of her little frens. Surely this wonderful memory will be wif Jamie even after she graduates from the kindergarten this year.

Cannot believe next Monday I will be joining hundreds of thousands of parents to queue up for Primary 1 registration!!! Mixed feeling.... our Jamie has grown up! She is about to go to the so-called "Big Kor Kor-Big Jie Jie" school! Quite relunctant to let her go though I know its part of life. Kids will leave us one day, sooner or later. I tell myself, I juz have to learn to let go and cherish her more each day.

Our Missy
Did a 3hrs+ kit for Jamie yday wif a fren who came along to my place. Scrapztudio offered to give us so-called free coaching but I find it not very educational as she herself is not expert in coaching as what I feel. Nevertheless, based on my past experiences wif such coaching, I managed to do up the front/back w the pages inside (no photos yet) , utilising as much of her tools as possible so that I can complete the insides pages wif minimal stress (hopefully)!

Blessed Birthday Papa!
Every year this time, while billions of Americans are toasting beers w cheers to celebration Independence Day, we will celebrate triple Js papa's BIG day! So today is also not an exception. Will be simple wif dinner over at in laws place wif cake cutting and a little gift too. Most importantly I pray that jjjpapa will have a good headstart in his spiritual walk wif God as we journey our 2years of IDT at our church together. As what the speaker had said last night, having a good headstart is not enough, we should have the ending in mind right from the beginning! We gotta to press on and to finish the race in order to pass on our legacy to our next generation, Amen!

Baby J's @ 34weeks
#3 is now weighing at 2.1kg. Average, 50 percentile as expected. Gynae said #3 will be somewhat between Jamie and Jeremy's weight. That's between 2.7-3.1kg. That's fine as long as he is born healthy wif no jaundice, birth defects or whatsoever complications. Effectively, I am counting down 5 weeks from today ! And judging from the ultrascan pix, I thought he resembles Jamie who has very chubby cheeks when she was born!

Fort Siloso Beach @ Rasa Sentosa
Had a planned trip w Eunice this morning for an excursion to the beach. Thank God for the good weather though it got hotter as it approached noon time. But the kids surely had a great time playing under the sun, especially Jeremy!! We then adjourned to Vivo after 2 hours of beach fun, washing up & rested at Rasa Sentosa. And my initial plan of bringing the children to their grandparents' place gotta cancelled when Jamie started to complain of fatigue & wanted to rest at home instead. As for Jeremy, he was obviously too worn out and dozed off even b4 we got up a cab!

Sleepy Beauty
It's Jamie's 1st time away from home to attend a full day complimentary art workshop (930-530pm) at Kinderart (Maxwell studio). She took home a huge canvas painting of Claude Monet, autumn effect at Argenteull 1873, which, ideally, to be display at our place, somewhere... Looking at the amount of effort she had put in, no wonder she's so exhausted after a long day of fun and slept on the sofa while I was preparing dinner.
Home Studio
Cannot remember when was the last time we took a decent family photo. So I told CQ to ask one of his photography khakis to help us out. And so we had an about 1hr+ of home studio last Saturday mid afternoon. Am sorting out some photos and hopefully can do up a nice family scrapbook & my preggie mini album too!

Tao Shu, The Award Winning Bilingual Series!
A fren rang me up last week to introduce me a series of Tao Shu chinese reader books. I've seen this from national TV so I knew what's she's talking about. But to get another series of books to squeeze onto the kids' already fully packed bookshelves, I've to be very careful in my selection of new books. But for now, click here for the details. It's definitely a good investment to start your kids in early literacy!

Interesting facts
Here's what I've found out about a child who has been trained from Shichida's method.
Observation of Shichida-trained children (aged 5) at other pre-schools
- Memory retention is stronger
- Recognise and recapitulate pictures and words from flash cards effortlessly
- Consistently perform well in spelling
- Display keen interest in learning
- Sharp listening skills- able to follow instructions well
- Work well independently. Hardly needs any supervision
- Can converse and recall details clearly
- Can grasp mathematical concepts quickly
I am training my kids using some of Shichida's methods + my own sets of right brain methods that I've acquired from people and centers that I've come across. Yes, I must admit it does help though it also depends on the child herself.

June Holiday Programmes??
As the mid-year holiday is just around the corners, I've already planned out some programmes to keep the kids occupied and fulfilled. I will still be carrying out my daily right brain training wif both of them while on certain days, they will be send out to attend some workshops near our place. As usual, there'll be some outdoor excursions too ! I just hope that they will be as excited as I do.
Tooth Fairy
This is a backlog report.... Jamie has finally dropped her 1st baby tooth on 12th May (Tues) some 3wks ago!! Yea!! It was quite tough for her initiately as she din know what to expect and if it's gonna be painful or not. Thank God she had a painless experience during lunch time in school when she ate some bread ! So I gotten her this little gift bag to safe-keep her lil tooth for memory's sake.

Mental Arithmetic
Jamie will be ending her Montessori Math coming mid June which I find that she has been learning it at very slow pace for the past 7 months from a montessori school near her school. It's solely out of convenience that I've enrolled her since its just within walking distance. But judging at the speed, I've decided to pull her out since she benefits more when learning at home wif me (contradicting right??). Anyway, I'm exploring CMA Mental Arithmetic for her this coming June holiday b4 I give birth so that I can homeschool her during my confinement period in August-September when she will not be able to attend lessons. Meanwhile, I've bought a simple basic book & a wooden abacus to self learnt at home. Hopefully can coach her during her period of absentism.
