Potty Trained

I believe one of the most tedious stuff to train our kids probably will be this.. Seriously speaking Jamie, by now, is capable to tell me prior passing urine or motion. However she's simply refused the potty no matter what. And worst of all, she will say "no" & "don't want" whenever I encourages her to use the potty. Sigh!! So, my sil gave me this potty, hopefully, to make her potty training a success. However it only managed to keep Jamie seated on it for a while.

The Wedding Shoot

Saw KH's putting up some fantastic shots (dated 31 Aug) they took for CQ's younger sister, Katy, wedding shoot last weekend. With both CQ & KH's artistic shoots, I'm sure that the photos will turn out supremely wonderful unless their equipments playing tricks on them.... I'm looking forward to see all the printouts !!

My laptop's HDD has somewhat crashed which left me utterly disturbed and displeased as ALL my data stored lately has totally wiped out !!! :((

The good thing is, YEA I can finally blog!!!

Baby Progress

Today I'm 23rd weeks into my pregnancy and found out that our dear son's on 40th percentile in relation to his weight. This would means that he will be slightly lightly than Jamie !! Arrgghhh!!!

Perhaps this probably due to the fact that I have not been eating well during my 1st trimester and even till now, my eating habit has not yet establish, healthily I mean. Well, as of today onwards, I will have to ensure that I drink 3 glass of milk and at least an egg daily. Gynae said the estimated birth weight will be around 3kg if I do not pump up my dairy products intake. Jamie was 3.11kg then..

We shall see.....

End of the World....

My laptop finally decided to take its long-life leave away from me. This also means so much of inconvenience and irregular blogging and surfing the internet for me. :((

Butterfly

As usual, first thing in the morning, just before Jamie finish brushing her teeh, she requested me to carry her to see the caterpillar.

Without looking at it, I carried Jamie to the washing machine where the caterpillar was kept inside a microwave container.

"Arrrggghh" was my immediate screamed after seeing the huge butterfly instead of the green leafy "curry puff" !!

I was so SHOCKED and was quite fearful to release the butterfly out of the container. Having saying that, I also realised that one of the butterfly's wing seems "deformed" and it was kind of struggling to fly.

Without much delay, after Jamie had her milk feed, I quickly went over to my in-laws house and asked my fil release the butterfly out at one of the plant outside the lift corridor.

Away from home

CQ has gone away for a video shoot this afternoon to KL. Initially I was against him of travelling away due to the haze condition there. However I have not much say in it since its a corporate event that he is doing and the client has not cancel the event since then. Hope that the condition will be under control at least during his stay there.

He will be home latest by Wed. We miss you, papa...

No Progress...

Ever since the caterpillar has wrapped itself into a leaf liked shaped few days ago, it has yet to emerge out into a beautiful butterfly. Haiz.... the wait is long....

Congratulations!!

A fren of mine just SMSed me this afternoon informing that she has just given birth last night. That's reminded me that I have less than 20weeks to my final countdown.... gee.....

Seeing is believing

Seeing how the tiny little caterpillar transformed has really set my eyes "opened"

This is supposingly the 2nd last stage before it transforms into a beautiful butterfly.

Changing Color

Early this morning, we were astonished to found out that the caterpillar has changed its color into green and it has increases its size too ! I was like "WOW!!!" Very beautiful indeed !!!

Jamie BBQ Bday Party

Today is the intended birthday party that I have been planning since weeks ago. Was afraid that we might not have enough food for the 21 invited guest + 6 kids. Thank God it was more than sufficient!! Also thank God for the wonderful weather in the evening after some rain during the day. I have specially ordered an Elmo cake for Jamie since it was Barney during her 1st bday. It was a kind of relaxed and casual party and thanks to my 2 wonderful sisters & brothers-in-law for their great help during the party while we were able to mingle around with our relatives and friends. The party finally ended around 10pm. Oh boy! We were so exhausted!! I'm sure Jamie was too as she fell almost into deep sleep barely in less than a minute :D

Caterpillar @ 2 weeks Old

Honestly speaking, the caterpilla looks more awful as it grows bigger. I begin to feel "yucks!" instead of "wow!"

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jamie

Here's how we celebrated Jamie's birthday as a family at Swensen restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to received a free firehouse ice cream after knowing that we are buying a slice of ice cream cake to celebrate for Jamie after dinning there. Jamie was very thrilled to see the "fire" on the candle on both the ice cream and the firehouse ice cream (pix nt taken)! It was tough getting her a birthday present ... but we managed to settle for the mini book fun & play electronic toy.

There'll be another bigger celebration affair for Jamie at my sis house. She will probably be excited to see her favourite Elmo cake and number "2" candle on it!!

Magazine Cover

I have been going to bed into the wee hours since days ago. Been working hard even during the day when Jamie naps where I can have a good short rest instead. This is a last min project. I'm trying to build a photo album/s of Jamie from birth. Someone says that stress do push a person's to work triple harder. I can't disagree further....

Since we have not been developing all the digital photos of her since 1 1/2year ago, it took me painstaking effort to sort, edit and design. That's explain why I'm beginning to feel the lack of sleep + deeper dark eye circle :( But after seeing all my artworks, its truly worth it and I'm sure Jamie will appreciate what her mom has done for her when she grows up. Guess how many photos I have sorted out to develop ?

Almost 450!!! (entire album will have more than 650 photos in all) And this still exclude our recent overseas trip to Perth ! It's way too much and I don't think I can handle...

Synthetic Supplements ??

Can someone pls enlighten me if it's good to consume those over the counters supplements that we can find it easily at any retail outlets ?

Well, I was shocked to know that most of these supplements are generally synthetic processed and are bad for our health! Meaning, we are putting up some degree of stress on our dear liver to work on the supplements. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So now, I'm exploring into consuming "organically grown supplements" instead. Mmm... getting more health conscious or freaking KS huh ??

1 Week Old

Look how big our caterpillar has grown into!! I am so excited to see its development and really looking forward to see it changing into a beautiful butterfly.

Art & Craft

It's time to let Jamie exercise her creativity juice and so I bought a small trial painting set to start the ball rolling. She was full of curiousity and yet excited to touch and feel the paint. Luckily she was able to listen and follow through the 10-15mins painting exercise. Surely she'll be looking forward for the next painting session!

Vanity @ Work

We have noticed that Jamie has grown to be more vain especially the inclination to doll up herself! Having said so, I also love to buy all sorts of hairclips. And this hairband has just added into the piles of Jamie's vanity collection. One of the things that she likes to do is to "admiring" herself in front of the mirror. And everytime when she runs towards our wardrobe, I will have to go after her since she is incapable to open the full length door (where the mirror is). So becos of that, I will be getting a children sized dressing table to be placed in her bedroom.
